Special Shoulders Immersion 6-day Retreat: The Functional Shoulder: For Yoga, Movement and Beyond at the famous KRIPALU Center for Yoga & Healing
DAILY SCHEDULE: Sunday 7:30-9:00 pm, Monday –Thursday 8:30-11:30 am and 1:45-3:45 pm, Friday 9:00-11:00 am
Gain an intellectual and embodied understanding of shoulder function through palpation, mobility, and stability exercises, hands-on adjustments, and best practices for stress relief and injury management. Each day of this program begins with a two-hour athletic training and recovery class incorporating The Roll Model® therapy ball self-massage followed by an innovative Yoga Tune Up functional movement session for your wrists, shoulders, core, upper back, and neck.
Injuries welcome.
Here's what you'll learn:
This course qualifies for Yoga Alliance continuing education credit.
Each day our studio time together finishes by 3:45pm.
This ensures that you have plenty of time to relax, take Kripalu classes, go shopping, walk the meditation circle, take a hike or schedule a spa treatment!
The food at Kripalu is delicious and I'm already looking forward to no cooking and cleaning while teaching!
There is also a jacuzzi, a lake and a fitness center to explore.
I will be organizing optional group activities: Picnics on the Hill, group meals in the Great Dining Hall, Berkshire Mountain Hikes, Movie Night and Game Night in our practice studio.
Feel free to bring slacklines, frisbees, hula hoops, musical instruments, etc.
It's going to be fun! I hope you can make it.
