This retreat will include both Roll Model®️ Method trainings- The Science of Rolling AND Ball Sequencing and Innovation. The retreat will also offer optional yoga classes, scenic walks, local hiking trails and the opportunity for private yoga and Roll Model®️ specific sessions.

The Science of Rolling (SOR)


The Science of Rolling training empowers you to personally adopt and teach simple and effective self-myofascial release regimens. 

What do you learn?

Roll Model® Therapy Balls are a soft-tissue conditioning tool that can be used as an adjunct offering within personal training, stretch, Pilates, wellness coaching, yoga, massage therapy, clinical or mental health settings, children or special populations. These on–the–go balls improve body coordination, reduce pain and improve movement. They can be used in a variety of settings; office, home, gym, clinic and yoga/Pilates studios.

Amplify your personal embodiment and learn applicable fascia science, bony landmarks, myofascial junctions, and pain physiology. Master specialized ball rolling techniques that penetrate into common high-tension areas. You will learn 6 head-to-toe series proven to affect profound change in the rotator cuff, upper back, neck, jaw, hips, lower back, IT Band, calves, and feet.

The Roll Model Method®: Ball Sequencing and Innovation (BSI)

Become a leader in the self-care fitness revolution. Distinguish your teaching of myofascial self-care for every client and context. 

What do you learn?

Provide a wide variety of soft-tissue self-care solutions for every client and condition while utilizing the four different sized Roll Model® Therapy Balls. Learn to effortlessly craft innovative moves and sequences to differentiate your teaching for any individual or community. Applicable to personal training, corporate wellness, Pilates, dance, clinics, mental health, yoga, massage therapy, or with kids and special needs populations.

Explore self-myofascial release in areas of your body frequently over-used, like the hands and knees, or completely ignored like the diaphragm and pelvic floor.
Improve classroom demonstration of Therapy Ball techniques and trouble-shoot classroom pitfalls and challenges when presenting to beginners or more experienced students.Learn the art of crafting test/retest scenarios to provide instant feedback of improved function or reduced pain.
Refine your anatomical fluency of bony landmarks, muscular attachments, and the fascial seam-system through experiential mapping strategies.

Day 1: -Arrival
            -Welcome dinner

Day 2: -SOR HALF DAY (4 hours), PM yoga class

Day 3: -SOR HALF DAY (4 hours), PM yoga class

Day 4: -Day off for holiday makers.
            -Optional morning yoga class in studio

Day 5: -BSI HALF DAY (4 hours), PM yoga class

Day 6: -BSI HALF DAY (4 hours)
            
Day 7: -Q&A
            -Afternoon self care workshop (2/2.5hrs)

Day 8: -Breakfast and Departure
