Jill Dunkley

Jill Dunkley originally came to yoga to help reduce work stress. The profound results she experienced connecting her mind and body through yoga led to a trip to India in the mid- 1990’s. She traveled alone in the Himalayas of Northern India where she had many adventures including staying for a month in Dharamsala in the foothills of the Himalayas and having a chance meeting with the Dalai Lama . This  experience changed the direction of her life towards full-time yoga teaching as of 2000.

Jill Haas

Jill took her first yoga class in 2003, but did not start a consistent practice until years later when she found herself feeling unhealthy in her life as a mom to a medically fragile daughter.   Through a consistent yoga practice and completion of a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course, she found a deep connection and love of the practices of yoga and mindfulness, both on and off the mat.   These practices helped her achieve strength and acceptance, and the space to find understanding in the gift she was given through her relationship with her greatest teacher, her dau

Jill Miller, C-IAYT, ERYT is the co-founder of Tune Up Fitness Worldwide and creator of the self-care fitness formats Yoga Tune Up® and The Roll Model® Method. With more than 30 years of study in anatomy and movement, she is a pioneer in forging relevant links between the worlds of fitness, yoga, massage, athletics and pain management. She is known as the Teacher’s Teacher and has trained thousands of movement educators, clinicians, and manual therapists to incorporate her paradigm shifting self-care fitness programming into athletic and medical facility programs internationally.

Jill has worked in the healthcare profession for many years, starting with direct patient care before elevating to management and administration. Her professional journey was supported by a holistic wellness lifestyle, which included aerobic exercise, biking, hiking and various other forms of physical fitness. When she first discovered yoga, the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits were nothing short of miraculous, and she realized she wanted to teach yoga and share this amazing practice with others.

Joana Anker

Joana has been a certified yoga tune up teacher since 2016. Having a background in life coaching, Joana brings to her classes an elevated level of body and mind awareness. She facilitates the body and mind connection through a series of exercises. Joana’s classes often follow a theme or a story and students are compelled to follow her tune up journey. Strength, improved elasticity and flexibility, better balance and pain elimination are some of the results generated in her classes. Joana teaches privately as well as group classes on Long Island and in Manhattan.

Joann is the  Founder and Director of Dharma Yoga Nantucket and Founder of the Nantucket Yoga Festival.
She thanks her lucky stars for the day she arrived at the doorstep of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in New York City. That was more than 25 years ago and she has been practicing Yoga ever since.

Josiane O'Rourke

Josiane O’Rourke is both a dedicated yoga teacher, and passionate Thai massage therapist. Through the application and practice of both traditions, Josiane sees every day the benefits that these two disciplines bring to people who are committed to leading active lives with vibrant health. In seeking out further ways to assist people in their movement practice, Josiane studied Thai Massage at the Lotus Palm school, attaining a level 4 accreditation, including 250 hours of practice in 2014.
