Karen was born to teach. Many call he an Edu-Tainer. Her unique teaching style keeps her students captivated, motivated and engaged. Her passion and mission is to help everBODY live better in their BODY. Karen’s fitness specialties are focus on improving the over all health and well being of all individuals. Her background teaching dance, judging, coaching and choreographing gymnastics gives her a unique perspective, knowledge and understanding of biomechanics and embodiment.

Karolyne is the Founder/President of Iron X Fitness, a boutique pole studio in Ottawa, Canada.
Karolyne grew up performing dance and music. She discovered pole in 2009 and it was love at first spin! The confidence, strength and flexibility she gained through pole dancing was life changing and she wants to share that with her students.
She has competed in several pole fitness competitions. She placed 1st at the PSO Canada East L5 Entertainment 2018 and 2nd in Aerial Hoop at the Toronto Pro Supershow 2016.
Kate Hamm has been assisting others in improving their health and wellness for over 10 years as a personal trainer, fitness/yoga instructor and hiking guide. The past five years were spent at the award winning resort The Ranch Malibu and The Ranch 4.0. She recently relocated to her home state of Massachusetts to launch AnamBliss.
Meet Kate. She is fascinated by movement and is constantly searching for new ways to stimulate interest in building and maintaining health in her students’ bodies. Drawing on a vast background of anatomical knowledge, she incorporates the science of the body with the innate intuition of human movement in her classes. As a longtime yoga and Yoga Tune Up® teacher and a current teacher training student of Peak Pilates, she blends a variety of movement styles, coupled with self-massage and mobility techniques, to craft instruction that targets a broad spectrum of needs.
Katharina is a Darmstadt-based Yoga and Meditation teacher, scientist on Corporate Sustainability and a Yoga Tune Up® certified teacher. With a background in classical dance, her passion for Yoga started in 2008 when she visited a beginner’s Yoga class in her then hometown Berlin.
Besides being a Yoga Tune Up® Teacher, Katherine is also a Certified Personal Trainer, SFG1 Kettlebell Instructor, Flexible Steel Level 2 Instructor, Certified Functional Strength Coach, and FMS Level 1 Certified. She believes in a holistic approach to fitness; that one must not develop any component at the expense of another. For a long time Katherine neglected a nagging shoulder pain as well as mobility/flexibility work in her training. These days she recognizes that self-care, which for her include Yoga Tune Up® poses and The Roll Model® Method, are a vital part of overall wellbeing.
Kat has been involved in dance and sport from an early age, completing her BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre at the Laban Centre, London in 2000. Introduced to yoga in a gym to supplement her dance training, her formal study began much later with Jana Appleyard in London in 2006. Kat was fortunate to be an apprentice of Jana's, studying and practicing the Shadow Yoga method for five years.
