Yoga Tune Up® Certification Training
Katharina is a Darmstadt-based Yoga and Meditation teacher, scientist on Corporate Sustainability and a Yoga Tune Up® certified teacher. With a background in classical dance, her passion for Yoga started in 2008 when she visited a beginner’s Yoga class in her then hometown Berlin.

She received her first yoga teaching certificate (500+h) (BDY) in 2015 and has been teaching both private and group classes ever since. Her initial focus was on offering Yoga classes to athletes and gyms, but her workshops have extended to a broader public recently. She particularly enjoys teaching her students a more subtle and in-depth awareness of their bodies, their body movements and their alignment in Yoga poses. Combined with a gentle harmonization of breath and movement, her teaching allows for even deeper connection to and feel of the body tissue and well-being.

In 2017 she immersed in the wisdom of classical Hatha Yoga philosophy by studying with Mark Whitwell and becoming a certified “Heart of Yoga” teacher. In June 2018, Katharina completed her certification as a Yoga Tune Up® teacher and teaches YTU workshops where she lives in the Rhein-Main area, Germany.

Katharina continues to explore and experience different styles of Yoga such as Iyengar, Restorative and Vinyasa Yoga, as well as many other great ways to keep the body healthy through strength and mobility training. Her secret love – over and above – lies in meditation and breathing techniques, which inspire her teaching and the space she provides to her students during class.
