A mover and shaker, Katrina has a lifelong relationship with movement, from aerial arts, ballet, flamenco, and sports including volleyball and track. After discovering yoga, she explored other yoga styles such as Vinyasa, Forest, Yin, and restorative yoga. Her teaching is influenced by her practice of yoga, combining Ashtanga’s focus on connecting movement with breath and Iyengar’s attention to structure and alignment. She has experienced the powerful mental and physical benefits of yoga, both on and off the mat, and loves to share this mind-body practice with her students. 

In Katrina’s classes, students will experience thoughtfully sequenced classes and transformative Yoga Tune Up® inspired classes, cultivating body and mental awareness and finding balance between effort and ease. Teaching since 2009, Katrina received her 500-hour teacher training from YogaWorks, studying with Natasha Rizopoulos and has completed trainings in restorative yoga with Jillian Pransky, certified in Lagree Fitness, barre, and completing trainings with Jill Miller, Shiva Rea, Ana Forest, Barbara Benagh, Desiree Rumbaugh, and many others.
