Peggy started out as a banker and tax accountant.  After years of 4 inch heels and long hours of sitting, she realized in her late 50s early 60s that her passion was helping people age gracefully.  The most glaring example for her was watching her mother age.  Looking at her photo gallery you will see the photographic evidence of the difficult aging process experienced by her mom.  At 40 and 70 they were still the same height.  By the time her mother moved in with Peggy and her family around the time she turned 90, her mother had shrunk to below Peggy's shoulder.  Multiple friends had died of congestive heart failure, kidney failure, cancer and a myriad of other diseases.  Many had horrible histories of dementia and lack of mobility.  It became very important that she not follow the path of her parents or friends.  She started with Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching as that was the first modality she connected with as it allowed her husband to avoid 7 surgeries recommended by the sports medicine physicians in San Diego.  She and her husband became Level 5 Certified Master Trainers.  Then a program specifically for posture giving her a certification as an Posture Exercise Professional.  Then the certifications  of Yoga Tune Up(r) called to her and she became a Certified Yoga Tune Up Instructor and a Roll Model Method Practitioner.  Peggy and her husband, Dave, and their standard poodle named Pink own and manage two facilities in Astoria, Oregon and Ilwaco, Washington where teaching their clients and students self-care is one of the most important  goals of their facilities.
