This full body class bolsters strength in the shoulders, core and glutes through integrative exercises and familiar yoga poses. The movements feature a diverse repertoire of poses to practice, in sitting, standing, twisting, back-bending and inverting.
The class is fun and dynamic, designed to provide balance to a body that may have spent a lot of time sitting or driving.
You will explore the Warrior Pose series, Half Moon Series and standing diaphragm-based backbends to provide more length on the front of the body. On this journey maintain a keen eye on your pelvis-to-spine relationship as this duo will provide added strength and stability in all your movement.
This class is challenging. Take notice of the turmoil that builds from hard physical exertion, and use this opportunity to observe your breath and cultivate a calm attitude of inner poise.
