Whole Body Classes with a focus on Innovation.
This summer, Jill is bringing you a series of whole-body classes filled with the fundamentals of creativity and novel therapeutic approaches to help you find your body blind spots. Each hour-long themed class addresses mobility, pain, strength and soft-tissue recovery through the use of objects, like props, to increase your spatial and proprioceptive awareness.
Jill left the confines of the “rectangle cage” of her yoga mat decades ago. In this new series, she brings you into her creative lab by using one main prop, such as a chair, the wall, a strap, a block, the floor, her mat (along with the force of gravity) as a focal point to alchemize your sensory-motor maps and improve coordination.
If you are hungering for something a little different, these sequences will inject some spice into your own practice and spark creativity if you teach or work directly with others.
Each new class drops on Thursdays at 10am PT (1pm ET). Open to all fitness levels.
Session props throughout the series include:
- Yoga Strap or Belt
- 2 Yoga Mats
- 2 Blocks
- Folding Chair (or any chair)
- Flat Wall
- Wooden Floor (or plastic bag under you on carpet for glide)
- Roll Model Therapy Balls
Here’s how this series of classes unfolds
Classes are based around 5 week cycles. During each five week cycle a new class is released each week for four weeks, followed by a LIVE Interactive class on the 5th week. Each new class is also "paired" with a recommended class from the existing replay library so you have a similarly themed set of classes to work on each week. This will further enhance the goal and learning of each new class. And no worries if you can't make the LIVE Interactive Zoom Class sessions as you'll get access to the recordings.
