Samara has studied hatha and vinyasa yoga, Yoga Tune Up®, The Roll Model®, Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans, an embodyyoga® program, YogiBeans for kids, and Yoga Nidra.  She has studied a variety of trauma informed yoga practices, including studying the Trauma Center's Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) under David Emerson, Jenn Turner.  Samara has taught yoga to aid workers, diplomats, police, veterans, and civil servants in Sudan, Nepal, and Afghanistan and has spearheaded pilot life skill building projects, which integrate yoga practices, as part of community based recovery and peacebuilding, for communities affected by conflict.  She is co-founder of Feet on the Ground (www.feet-on-the-ground) and has taught workshops on the use of yoga as part of peacebuilding and recovery programs as well as co-designed the 2016 Yoga Segment of Build Peace Conference in Zurich, Switzerland.
