Prepare for a movement confidence boost! This class builds in energy and effort as it helps improve deep postural stability for standing yoga poses, walking, and moving through activities of daily living.
We dive into classical and modern versions of the sun salutation series, weaving in themes of poise and awareness while moving. The class takes a deep dive into squat variations that bolster the abdominal muscles as they couple with strength in the hips and low back. This lesson will strengthen the structural skill all bodies need in order for the pelvis and spine to carry and better support our body’s organs and their biological processes.
This class heightens awareness around moving forward and backward in space, and around standing and sitting with an integrated spine. The upper body, arms, shoulders, and rib cage are challenged through dynamic stretches and isometric contractions to more fully coordinate your practice from top to bottom.
