This class is an opportunity to awaken the intelligence in our pelvis and address our hips therapeutically from many angles. It is difficult to fall back into old and comfortable habits when our practice offers novel ways to examine and move through traditional postures. This method provides much needed attention to areas hungry for connection.
Through this practice we get a chance to view classical yoga asana like Warrior 2, Triangle and Paschimottanasana from a new perspective without bypassing comfortable body blindspots. What is above the pelvis (spine) and below it (legs) must engage with and through the abdominal core in order to support all possible ranges of motion for an integrated whole-body experience.
