This full body class strengthens and supports the entire body for handstand strength and pelvic stability through standing postures. Handstands require major core strength and shoulder mobility, and for this class you may want to offer your shoulders and upper back a therapy ball massage for the rotator cuffs and the thoracic spine as a warm up. Side boat pose and a dynamic psoas strengthening series prepare your body for the lumbo pelvic stability required later in class during half moon, side angle pose, triangle and twisted triangle. Once you complete this class your body will feel like every joint has been moved through every range of motion available to it.
