The Roll Model® Method and Yoga Tune Up®

The Roll Model® Method features self-myofascial massage education that explores how the science and application of rolling impacts fascial anatomy, mobility, pain and performance. Yoga Tune Up® is a format that focuses on anatomy, kinesiology and the biomechanics of movement. Both offer group fitness certification trainings that allow practitioners to adapt best practices for classes, private clients or personal practice.

These complementary formats work in tandem to advance embodiment and health through self-massage and evidence based practices.

THE ROLL MODEL®
METHOD CERTIFICATION

The Roll Model® Method teaches self-myofascial release (self-massage) principles and techniques using Roll Model® Therapy Balls for pinpoint accuracy and targeted relief from common aches and pains. This course gives you fact-based SMR application and strategies to eliminate pain and elevate performance.

Inspires creativity and expands rolling application strategies for special populations. Polishes presentation and programming skills.

This two-day group fitness certification training dives deep into pain physiology, fascia geography and ball choreography to empower you with the skills and context to incorporate Roll Model® Methodology into your classes, workshops and privates.

YOGA TUNE UP® CERTIFICATION

Yoga Tune Up® group fitness certification delves into integrated anatomy and biomechanics while helping you discover a fresh approach to teaching. You will go beyond formulaic instruction and learn to think, teach and coach creatively within your classroom and with individual clients based on their needs and fitness level.

This 7-day Certification Training focuses on movement from an anatomical and biomechanical perspective. It works to rewire proprioceptive feedback and locate “body blind spots” – tissues and joints that are overused, underused, or misused and have become desensitized or dysfunctional.

In this training you will:

    • Elevate your embodied teachings by deepening your anatomical understanding
    • Learn the art of building context-based cueing that connects with your clientele
    • Develop a foundation to build original classes that bridges the gap between rehab, functional training, yoga and massage therapy
    • Connect with a like-minded community who shares a passion to bring evidence-based practices and joyful creativity to their teaching

The poses, routines and structure of this format are rooted in discovering the biomechanics and physiology of each individual as an individual, helping students through their own process of creating lasting embodied change.
