Expand your movement repertoire with exercises that help you refine your capacity to differentiate motion between the pelvis and the spine. This is a skill you need in order to strengthen and lengthen your hamstrings, adductors and deep hip rotators.
The exercises in this practice shine a light on some familiar poses like Janu Sirsasana, also known as head to knee pose. This posture and others illuminate the skill of folding at the hip joint, highlighting in the process how to stack your spine to carry you with new ease, poise and agility. Experience the process of weight shifting through the pelvis while managing loads through the core to help you embody the famous SI joints capacity.
This practice maintains a keen focus on loading and moving joints. This will over time stimulate your nervous system and improve your proprioception, a necessary body sense that helps us stay out of pain and move freely.
