Prepare for a movement confidence boost! This class is designed to boost energy and effort and promote deep postural stability in standing yoga poses, walking and moving through daily life.
This class heightens awareness around moving forward and backward in space and in standing and sitting with a coordinated spine and pelvis. The upper body, arms, shoulders and rib cage are challenged with dynamic stretches and isometric contractions to better integrate your practice from top to bottom.
You will dive into classic and novel versions of the sun salutation series to advance poise and awareness in movement. The class takes a deep dive into squat variations to help more efficiently support the legs and core. These strength skills help preserve lower back health by providing muscular support at our pelvis and spine.
