This class is a hip and pelvic centered experience. This practice may reveal symmetry or asymmetry in the pelvis through some of the deep movers of the hips and groin. Explore the effects of poses like samakonasana on the wall in tandem with strength building work like adductor slides.
You will alternate between active and passive movements, allowing yourself time to observe how your heart and breath must adjust their pace to meet your bodys needs. This is your chance to tune in to yourself and calmly allow what’s happening beneath the skin to inform you. Some stretches are held for longer periods of time, providing space for the connective tissues that surround the working muscles to facilitate better overall movement.
