This class includes shoulder and hip exercises that build stability and mobility for weight bearing poses like downward dog and warrior 3. This session begins with joint preparation exercises like raise the chalice and pranic bath that move your shoulders through almost every range of motion available to help you find mobility and stability at every angle within the joint itself.
The lower body sequences practice moving through hip flexion and rotation to challenge your hips to better navigate your body weight though gravity with deeper coordination. Dynamic mini vinyasas are sprinkled into class, to help you explore a variety ways to engage the deep rotators of the hips.
The spine in this class plays a background role, always present, always supportive, but challenged to find stability by the moving limbs.
