InCoreporate challenges you to discover all the ways to move and strengthen your upper back. Along the way you will rediscover your famous six pack muscle (which is really an eight pack!), the rectus abdominis. This work challenges you to clearly identify which muscles you are using and how they activate in order to maneuver the upper body around the pelvis.
This class helps you to build the mobility and stability required to offset forward head posture, rounded shoulders or stiffness in your upper back. You will layer your movement with novel breath patterns that teach you how to fully integrate all of your abdominal muscles including your respiratory diaphragm.
The practice is not about isolating one muscle or building lots of tension as a strategy. On the contrary, at its core it hopes to free you to summon each muscle’s skill at your command with strength and agility.
