Motion occurs at junctions where bones connect to one another. The range of motion at each joint is granted by the shape of your bones, the inherent tension in the ligaments, tendons, the joints, and by the strength and elasticity of the myofascial tissues controlling motion about the joint. Motion is also granted or inhibited by the nervous system. This class leads you through dozens of major and minor joint articulations throughout your body and helps you build familiarity and fluency to embody the language of your body.

Ankle sprains don’t just localize agony in the ankle. The hip will create a workaround to minimize pressure and pain in the ankle complex. This class re-integrates your hip so it collaborates better with its downstairs neighbor.
