Go deeply into the soft tissue structures that move and support your hips and knees in sitting, standing and walking with your Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls. This sequence will massage famous structures like the glutes, the IT band and the piriformis as you recline on the floor to ease stiffness and help you move with fluidity.
Your hips are part of a bigger bony structure called your pelvis. The pelvis is the base for most of your body’s mass. Its central location means that the many normal one sided biases we all have can impact how our hips function and feel. For example, perhaps you stand on one leg more than the other or you sit leaning off to one side in a habitual shape. These are movement patterns that can impact your hips’ mobility and strength. This massage will help heighten your awareness around these movement patterns so you can gradually make changes.
