This deeply penetrating massage sequence is performed reclined on the floor to target the many layers of muscles that weave into the lower back.
With the sequence you will learn how to find your own quadratus lumborum muscles otherwise known as your QL. This is a pair of muscles that attach to your spine, ribs and pelvis. With so many bony attachment sites, these muscles can often contribute to feelings of low back pain, stiffness and discomfort stemming from the repetitive ways we move, sit and breathe.
