Let this massage help restore ease to muscles in your lower back and nourish your body with the movement it craves.

Lean into the balls against the wall and rub out the muscles that live between your ribcage and your pelvis along your waistline, guiding your own depth of pressure. Let yourself feel into all contours and shapes that intersect and blend into the lumbosacral region, an integral source of balance and stability for the body.

The tissues of the lower back are affected by habitual behaviors and postures we assume throughout our day. In general remaining in any one position for an extended period of time can make your body’s tissues feel stiff, tight and harder to move. The most supportive practice is to give your body a healthy variety of movement option throughout the day. When options are limited because of work, travel, etc. self massage with Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls is a practical and pleasurable means to maintain your mobility.
