Peripheral nerves are cloaked in fascia, just like your muscles and organs. The nerves depend on local glide for unimpeded conduction. When surrounding tissues lack mobility, pain symptoms and diminishing range of motion can occur. Rolling and massage can be helpful for unbinding movement kinks surrounding nerves, but research also shows that specific neural stretches can also make a difference. This class outlines nerve mobilization techniques, also called nerve flossing or nerve glides of the lower body and upper body. Learn to floss your sciatic nerve, median nerve and more in this gentle class.
