This video will help your body prevent stiffness and restore movement from head to toe after a long ride on the bike. Cycling is one of the most exciting sports to experience whether you are an amateur or a serious athlete. One thing is clear, the movements of your hips, shoulders and spine are pretty limited by the cycle’s design. When you consider long training rides or the need in some competitive spaces like triathlons to rapidly switch from sport to sport, the demands on your body are high.
This routine will have you nourishing the joints spaces in your spine, hips and shoulders with lateral moves, rotation and plenty of extension. The variety of shapes you will take in this class will help to offset the time spent folded over the handlebars and restore your muscles resting shapes. This sequence includes a short time for rest in recline in order to optimize your recovery.
