This restorative routine helps runners retain length and elasticity in their hip flexors, hamstrings, calves and the low back. Expect to stretch, strengthen and mobilize the pelvis, shoulders and trunk with some familiar and novel exercises.
In the running gait cycle the pelvis and trunk act in opposition to one another. This sequence helps your body maintain this capacity and keep all of your moving parts nimble and ready for your next run.
