Practice this sequence after tennis to reinvigorate all the muscle and joints in the shoulders, upper back and hips that you use on the court. This sequence explores deep long stretches to the front of the chest wall, the upper back, the shoulder girdle and the pelvis.
Tennis is a full body sport that requires capacity for power and swift rotation throughout the body. For most people racquet sports like tennis usually bias muscular engagement on one side of the body more frequently than the other.
This recovery practice will help bring balance back to all parts of you, so you can maintain your capacity equally throughout your body and prevent injury.
