This massage is perfect for any trimester as it influences the quality of tension in the soft tissues along your chest wall and shoulders. These are your carrying muscles and it’s likely that carrying is an activity you may be spending a lot of time doing.
You will use the Alpha ball and the Plus or Original Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls at the wall to rub, stretch and roll your way to more pliable, elastic muscles.
This massage will enliven the shoulders with circulation and stimulation to give your arms greater capacity to move and perform in your day to day life.
Many anatomical structures intermingle at the chest and shoulders that extend far beyond this region. For this reason you may experience a ripple effect in your neck movement, your breath capacity and even your mood.
