You live in a curvy body no matter your body type. On a molecular level a protein of wavy, interlacing tendrils known as collagen pads and connects the spaces in between all cells. Collagen’s triple helical structure bends, twists, and winds; it doesn’t make it easy for you to bend your body straight into a triangle. That’s ok! It’s really fun to curve around your contours and pitch maps to help you propriocept and discover new inner shapes and harmonics in your percussive triangle. Tune in and recompose the pose to expose your optimal performance of Triangle.

Infuse your week with innovation and play. The Mat class may not include Triangle Traditions, but it will inspire new creativity in your personal practice.
In this series of MOVE, BREATHE, ROLL – The Logical/Mythological Series, Jill focuses on common myths and misperceptions of practice that still persist in yoga and movement classrooms today. Each class tackles a myth that unrolls like a sticky mat when you filter it through anatomy, kinesiology and physiology. Join Jill on this fun myth-busting journey that also translates into other popular movement forms including pilates, CrossFit and Instagram Inspo. Each class will attempt to unpack a myth from a historical/contextual lens and take you through Tune Up Fitness movement practices that help your body to be a lab of curiosity and discovery.
