Leorna has over 1000 hrs training just in different modality of Yoga, then plus Pilates and other movements. She experienced first-hand the benefits of movement can contribute a positive change in health and awareness during recovery from Cancer years ago. After decades working in Fashion Design, she loves to share her practice to her students. Integrate harmony between mobility and strength. Her movement and private sessions are using alignment-oriented and corrective movements that compliment sports and daily activities. Bring challenge to the body while preventing injury. Her clients include doctors, desk-bound workers, students with physical limitations, Cancer warriors, mental health youth adults, serious runners, daily cyclists, golf lovers, professional swimmer as well as yogis. By using her biomechanics, kinesiology knowledge and scientific backing meditation, self-myofascial release uniquely tailor sessions to client’s needs. When she is off the mat she enjoys Barre, TRX, outdoor, swim and beach hopping in Hawaii.
She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Pilates Mat & Reformer instructor, Tune Up ® instructor, Roll Model ® Method Practitioner, Therapeutic Yoga, E-RYT-500®, Restorative, Functional Movement teacher, Oncology based Yoga4Cancer® instructor, TRX and International Ballet Barre certified instructor. Besides teaching Vinyasa, Self-care yoga with therapy balls, Meditation, Pilates and Corporate classes. She loves spreading the gift of exercise to Seniors in our Community, Mental Health Center and Cancer support groups. Aside from Jill Miller's method, she studied from Rodney Yee, Leslie Kaminoff, Jillian Pransky, Tari Prinster, many other master teachers, physical therapists and psychologists. Continued to refine her personal practice and teaching through study, exploration and direct experience.
