“Life is not about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself.” This mantra rings true for me. My wellness journey has been and continues to be a lot of trial and error, exploration and seeking out the right support/resources. It started in college when a dear friend introduced me to yoga as an alternative to the daily wear and tear I was doing to my body through competitive sports and leading an active lifestyle. I was instantly hooked, and eventually went on to complete my teacher training at Yogaworks in NYC. I have come to learn on a deep level that healing a weary body is only part of practicing wellness. My continually evolving passion for a holistic approach to mind and body wellness led me to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, as well as various specialized yoga teaching certifications, including Yoga Tune Up® and The Roll Model Method®. I personally appreciate and value the integration of yoga, self-massage, mindfulness, coaching, psychotherapy and the power of the outdoors, all of which I really enjoy sharing with my clients and students. I am blessed to help people of all ages, shapes, sizes and backgrounds navigate their own personal journey to wellness and learn how to live better in their bodies.
I currently live in Charlestown, Massachusetts with my hilarious husband who keeps me laughing every day. If I'm not teaching yoga, preaching about the benefits of Yoga Tune Up® balls or working as a counselor at Wentworth Institute of Technology, you will most likely find me somewhere outside, whether it's sailing on the Boston Harbor or skiing in New England.
