Rachel Lando is a teacher of yoga, movement, and anatomy. Rachel felt called to yoga and mindfulness following her diagnosis in 2012 with scleroderma, a rare autoimmune condition. She has since eased into a personal movement and meditation practice, certified as an E-RYT200 (Experienced Registered Yoga), and pursued advanced education and certification in mat + reformer pilates, Yoga Tune Up®, Roll Model Method®, Breath and Bliss, biomechanics, trauma-sensitive yoga, and mindfulness. Rachel is the founder of Patient Care Movement and hosts Anatomy and Physiology for Improved Fitness, CE workshops for yoga professionals, movement enthusiasts, and the chronic illness community. She lives in Park City, UT, where she enjoys teaching weekly classes, being outdoors and spending time with her husband Michael, her 7-year-old daughter Maya, and her dog Jet.
